So i’ve changed my gpu to newer one and suddenly i had problems booting my pc. I thought it was MOBO’s 24pin power cable but now i feel like its not that. My MOBO’s backplate is making my mobo get power when i press it against the mobo. I’ve also have been getting overcurrent error for long.

so i am running out of ideas, if there is someone who knows better bout this stuff, i would love some help and thank you beforehand!

components
cpu 5600x
mobo b550 +
gpu 2080 ti
psu seasonic 750 or 850w

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Seasonic is the brand of the unit. You need to be specific about the model and wattage of the unit. How old is the PSU?

What GPU did you have prior and what GPU did you change to?

Seems like your system's being shorted, breadboard the system and see if the issue persists.
