Trying to activate new installation of Win XP 32 bit.

I need Win XP to run 16 bit Windows games. I tried to activate using the online option - got no such page. Tried to activate by phone - got invalid product message. Tried the edit WPAEvents registry setting option explained on this board. This worked until the trial time expired. Win XP insisted that I activate before I login. Clicked yes to activate. Got the Win XP is already activated message. Clicked OK and Win XP logged me out. Can anybody help?

Your only option is to call MS.
That is unlikely to work, however, because they cut off any support for XP years ago.

What version of Windows XP 32bit have you installed? If ServicePack 1 or 2 you first need to update to SP3 before you can register online as far as I remember.
