Question Trying to choose a rugged laptop

Hello Guys and Ladies,

I am trying to figure out a suitable "rugged" or "semi-rugged" laptop for my (somewhat unconventional) use.

I am a global consultant, and spend my life traveling to extreme and less extreme weather places (Temperate, very cold and humid, very hot and humid, or dry and hot).

I already killed several traditional laptops (MS surface pro, Acer, ...) and phones, and would now like to find a solution that could cope with frequent travel, extreme climates, .... that will just not let me down whenever things get a bit too hot (no misplaced ideas...).

I was looking at Panasonic, Dell, Getac, or Durabook... But really open to your wise suggestions.

I have an international business requiring extensive woldwide connection, MS Windows tools use, RAID structure ideally.

Living (officially and somewhat regularly) in Switzerland (in cases some alternatives would not be available to me!)

Would you mind sharing your recommendations with me?

I really appreciate!

Warm regards,

Eric.

There is such a thing as "ruggedized" laptops.

Have you been sorting through them?

Or only through standard laptops?

Thank you for your answer!

I actually essentially looked at "ruggedized" solutions: Getac, Panasonic Thoughbook, Dell Latitude Rugged Extreme. They all seem t be tough as nails (with seemingly Getac and Panasonic on top), but I am wondering whether this would make sense for my use.
I was also thinking of some alternative approaches, like a Samsung s9 Ultra (IP68) with a rugged protection... Your link presenting somewhat more traditional (while still ruggedized) laptops is interesting. I will dig into that further.
Thank you and kind regards,
Eric.
