Some say yes, others say no which I know doesn't help.

Since it's a active adapter it should give you those speeds once connected and set to the correct speed in Nvidia Control Panel.

Worst case scenario you end up returning it and having to look at getting a new monitor.

The asus one i guess, i has 2x hdmi and 2x display port. but my monitor doesn't support display port, is it possible to get a hdmi that can do 144hz?

Yea.. i even bought a DP to only find out my monitor doesn't support it - im not very smart with all the technical stuff about computers and stuff.. feelsbadman

I thought about getting it, but will it support 144hz using the adapter then?

I just cant find any hdmi's that actually says they support it, which makes me uncertain as i dont wanna get another cable i cant use lol

Thanks bud, kinda sucks that i have to look into a new monitor but thats just me not being proactive looking for that stuff. Thanks for the help!

Well try the adapter first before considering a new monitor. If you do look into a new monitor consider a ultra wide 21:9 screen, I just bought one (LG/29"/2560x1080P/75hz/IPS) for my system and I absolutely love it. They do make a larger 34" version that's 144hz.
