Trying to find a good webcam

So I need to sell my laptop and get a new one, but I need it so that I can Skype my girlfriend. I want to get a good/cheap webcam that I can Skype my girlfriend with on my desktop so I can get rid of my laptop. Suggestions?

Requirements are it is at least 5 MP so she can clearly see me and it has an inboard mic with a sensitivity for her to clearly hear me from a foot and a half away. It also needs to work on Windows 8.

Budget is low as possible.

No preferred retailer.

TBH I don't really know any of the manufaturers other than Logitech, we have a limited range in NZ.

The Logitech C525 is $37 @ Amazon.com.
