Hello, I’m trying to find a prebuilt gaming PC with an I9 12900K with a 3080 TI and 32 GB of DDR5 Ram, a great PSU to power these things with some headroom for around $3K if possible.. I see a lot of $4K builds a lot but I’m not interested in the 3080 or less and I want among the best for around that price if there’s somewhere that delivers it minus the useless things that raise the price beyond what it’s worth! I have a feeling people are gonna tell me there’s no chance but all I need is the tower with the parts prebuilt in.. I already have the monitor, keyboard and mouse, etc. I just want this thing to power through 4K max settings with no problem but some of these pre builds are ridiculously priced and I’m not interested in building it myself again considering part shortages anyway.. hoping for some great help on this! Thanks in advance.

Here's another option to consider ... order the components and call around at local mom & pops PC/laptop repair shops and find out how much they charge to build your computer if you bring them down the components. This way you know EXACTLY what's going inside your case. I live in Alaska and I can think of two of those shops within a twenty minute drive from my place that charge right around $150.

Those graphics cards are available?? I thought they were unavailable? How is that one in performance compared to the other EVGA versions? Plus are both of the SSD’s and HDD’s really fast drives? And is that PSU a great one or is it a generic kind? And is that CPU consistently that close to the 12900k? I just wanna make sure I’m getting the best parts because I want this PC to be a beast for a good while. Any prebuilt options that are close to that price? Sorry many questions but I need to know for sure before taking the plunge. And if I buy the parts in pieces I may just rebuild it myself again since I don’t trust others to do it as well as I’d like. I just have really high standards with these things and would hate to leave it in the hands of someone that may not do a good job. Thanks for your in depth help BTW!

The psu is manufactured by Super Flower for EVGA .. it's solid. The 12700K/KF runs almost dead even with the 12900K/KF in gaming yet uses less power and creates less heat. Samsung SSD's are top of the line and as far as graphic cards go I chose the non RGB version in order to save $100. As far as what prebuilts to go with ... I'm lost i that dept. but hopefully someone see's this thread and helps you out on what prebuilt outfits to look at.

You may be forced to take certain chances regarding parts quality and assembly care, depending on your budget.

You can try to buy "off the shelf" PCs from the likes of Lenovo or Asus.

Or take a look at so-called custom builders like Cyberpower, about which there is lots of caution around here as regards underlying parts, pricing, and assembly.

Or go with a so-called "boutique" builder, where you would likely have better parts and better build quality, but maybe higher prices than you'd like or a relatively small number of different configuration choices. I haven't looked at boutique in a while, but Puget Systems used to be a well-known choice.

Can you get any word of mouth recommendations for a local custom builder...as opposed to online? Local talent is harder to find in the last 10 or 15 years due to squeezed profit margins.
