As the title suggests, I have deleted my windows fonts and have no clue how to restore them, and when I say windows fonts I mean this...

I was reading up on how to sort a problem out with my PC, I can't reset it to factory default so I followed this and deleted these two files

http://www.thewindowsclub.com/setup-couldnt-start-properly-windows-10

I also deleted every system file through the cleaning app on windows.

So, I could really do with a hand getting my fonts back and sorting out why my computer won't let me reset it, it gives me and error saying Setup couldn’t start properly, Please reboot your PC and run set up again, it's taken me so long to sort this out, any help would be great!

hmm, did you delete or did they just vanish as others getting same problem

you could try this for the fonts: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/54452-rebuild-font-cache-windows-10-a.html

If you willing to do a reset, just do a clean install. On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

change boot order in BIOS so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer
follow this guide: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html

when you reach the screen asking for licence, click "I don't have a key" and win 10 will continue to install and reactivate once finished

On the screen where you choose where to install win 10, if it gives you an error about GPT drives, delete all the partitions on the hdd and press next. If it still gives error, cancel out of the installer and restart PC and start installer again, it will accept next on that screen this time (some PC just need a restart here)

Mate, I MEGA deleted things xD, I used unlocker to delete things that it wouldn't let me delete. My windows is genuine, but it wouldn't let me use the windows 10 media creation tool, it was giving me that error "Setup couldn’t start properly, Please reboot your PC and run set up again", googled the error and followed the instructions to delete files $Windows.~BT and $Windows.~WS. So that's how I lost my system font, they must of been stored in there.

I don't have a CD drive in my PC as it's 2017 and haven't got a usb on me, have to go to my sisters to get it, which is what I am most likely going to have to do isn't it to restore my pc back to a fresh install? I only have my computer a phone with a micro SD and my nephews laptop to work with at the moment, any way around it all? And when I do get a USB, how do I go about sorting it, will it copy my windows key even though it will be getting wiped, or will I have to buy windows 10 again?

Also that font rebuild didn't work says access denied on the cmd promt to it all

Can try to run this but if it asks for source files, it won't work as it needs an iso you can't download

right click start button
choose powershell (admin)
type SFC /scannow and press enter
once its completed, copy/paste this command into same window:
Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth and press enter
SFC fixes system files, DISM cleans image files, re run SFC if it failed to fix all files and restart PC

Didn't fix the font issue and as for the repair windows image, it said my Imagine was healthy the "Path:" was empty the online was false, restart needed was false, I did restart by the way.

Is the key for my genuine windows copy tied to my mother board so even if I got an iso it will still activate?

your key is stored on a Microsoft server alongside the details of current PC and possibly an email address, so If you clean install, on the screen where it asks for a licence, click "I don't have a key" and win 10 will continue installing and then check a server once its finished and confirm your PC is right to activate.

Thank you buddy. I really do appreciate your time and effort!
