Trying to set UEFI mode

So I'm doing a clean installation of windows from a USB. USB has been set up with Rufus already.

Now I'm a little confused as to what settings need to be on or off inside of my bios. Im running an asus.


Boot:

Secure Boot State: Disabled/Enabled

OS Type: Windows UEFI mode/Other OS


CSM:

Launch CSM: Enabled/Disabled

Boot device control: UEFI and Legacy OPROM/Legacy OPROM only/UEFI only

Boot from Network devices: Ignore/Legacy Only/UEFI driver first

Boot from Storage Devices: Ignore/Legacy Only/UEFI driver first

Boot from PCI-E Expansion Devices: Legacy only/UEFI driver first

The option in bold is the one I selected. Please let me know if I should change anything. Basically this is to install win 10 in UEFI. All these settings are confusing me.

Those settings are fine.
If you want to have pure UEFI system, you can set Launch CSM to Disabled.

Thank you for the response. Is ther any downside to making it a full UEFI system? See what happened was I installed it as Legacy on accident and since it was a fresh install, I figured it wouldn't be much of an issue to just do another reformat. Someone told me disabling csm is bad for other hardware, so I wasn't sure.

If you had some older hardware like storage controllers, graphics cards, audio cards, that require csm mode, then they wouldn't work in pure UEFI mode.

Personally I prefer legacy/csm to UEFI. Benefits of UEFI are not that important.
