Trying to upgrade computer

Hey, I'm interested in buying a graphics card and need some suggestions for what I should look into buying to be able to run games such as: Fallout New Vegas, GMOD, TF2, Portal, etc. on Medium settings.

My current specs are:

Motherboard: ASUS H81M-C/CS
CPU:Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 Quad Processor 2.5 GHz
Graphics Card: None
RAM: 8GB

Buy the strongest graphics card your budget and psu will allow.
Budget at least $100.
A GTX750ti is the strongest card that does not need an aux 6 pin power lead. It will be about $140.
