Trying to upgrade my dinosaur

I have a Asrock G41M-VS3 motherboard and t'm trying to upgrade the ram now. However pc part picker compatibility doesn't have the only ram currently available in my country in it's database so I don't know if it will work. I'd like a second opinion.

You just need DDD3 RAM in 1066 speed. Are you replacing the RAM or adding a second chip? If a second one, best thing would be to buy the same model as what you have now. If you can't find one, just get a matching size and speed one of another good brand.

Most likely will not work. Those older chipsets require low density ram so a 4Gb low density dimm will have 16 chips(8 on each side). The Adata ram you posted is single sided with 8 chips(all on 1 side). Another way to identify using the specs is the rank. A 1rx8 is high density and will not work, 2rx16 is low density and what you are looking for.

Specs are kinda lacking but images(google and newegg) show that it's double sided.
