News TSMC Arizona fab delivers 4% more yield than comparable facilities in Taiwan

May just be the result of the newer equipment and facility. Possible it is just a disparity in the purity of raw materials and chemicals available regionally.
Maybe you should go write advertisements for ASML: Our equipment is so advanced, even a workforce you spend years deriding can operate it on par or better than those you consider superior!

Strategically, IMHO, this is a good thing for TSMC, Taiwan and the Taiwanese people.

And, of course, the US has a more secure supply of strategic materials.

Bonus, Intel has a better metric to compare itself.

I'm unclear how a comment about a new build facility producing better yields then one that has been in production for years relates to writing advertisements for a company that, doesn't really need to advertise? (Speaking of that, I'm sure they do have a marketing division, can you imagine getting paid to advertise for a company that is basically the only option in the industry?)

I'm not even sure what workforce you are referring to. As far as I know they have the same people setting up and managing the facilities globally, either through telecommuting or actually flying out and keeping an eye on things. If that is something that TSMC has been saying about their various facilities, I am not aware.
