So I have a lian li lancool 3 case and an asus tuf mobo, asus tuf 4080.. Was running windows 10. I was using armourycrate to change my pc's RGB colors/settings.. I could also use the buttons on my case.. All 3 things were synced together (gpu, case fans, mobo rgb).. One day i decided to install EVGA precision for messing around with overclock settings.. Ever since then my gpu's RGB stays on a "rainbow" effect. If I press the case buttons, my fans/mobo color comes on and changes but my gpu stays the same.. If I manually go back into armourycrate I can sync all 3 again but as soon as I boot into another os or reboot., my gpu's RGB goes back to the rainbow colors, again.. Any ideas why this could be happening? I have manually reformatted and reinstalled OS, reinstalled armoury crate. I have physically removed my GPU from the mobo and plugged it back in.. It just automatically kicks on no matter what. I have messed with bios settings/enable/disable armourycrate.. Nothing works..

tried resetting bios to defaults?

Precision can control rgb, that is one of its uses... but it shouldn't mess with rgb of a non evga card. Its set it to default. rainbow is the default rgb scheme on card. https://gitlab.com/CalcProgrammer1/OpenRGB/-/issues/3043

Does thee GPU show up in Armory crate?
Installed latest version of Aura Sync? that can fix it - https://rog-forum.asus.com/t5/armou...trix-geforce-rtx-4080-16gb-gddr6x/td-p/892090
Yep already reset bios, turn off/on armourycrate support in bios, turn on/off RGB in bios.. And yes, armourycrate can see all my devices properly. And it will even sync them all back up properly.. But when I reboot, it goes back to the problem. And the case controls only work for the fans and mobo lights now.. When i first built this, everything worked like it was supposed to.. It was only after i installed evga precision that my gpu's rgb started going rogue lol. Nothing seems to work.. I dunno if there is a way to reset the gpu rgb?

do you run any Asus programs at startup?

Try a clean boot and see if it changes anything - make sure to read instructions and make sure NOT to disable any microsoft services or windows won't load right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

It doesn’t delete anything, it just stops non Microsoft programs running with start. Easy to reverse.

if clean boot fixes it, it shows its likely a startup program. You should, over a number of startups. restart the programs you stopped to isolate the one that is to blame.

curious if something is resetting colors at startup.
