Ryzen 7700X
3080 12G Trinity
1000W Corsair PSU.

RAM
  • Have Tried 1 set of T-Force Delta 32GB (2x16) DDR5 6000 CL 38 38 38 78 1.25V FF4D532G6000HC38ADC01
  • Have Tried 1 set of T-Force Delta 32GB (2x16) DDR5 6000 CL 30 36 36 76 1.35v FF4D532G6000HC30DC01

38 Cas Lat on verified list 30 Cas Lat not on verified list but both will POST no problem at default 4800 Mhz

When I enable DOCP I get steady yellow light on MOBO and no POST.
Updated to newest BIOS that released yesterday hoping it would resolve issue but no such luck. It's a new build, when I updated new MOBO straight from box I used Version 0821 skipping any prior versions. Then updated to Version 1222 today that was just released yesterday.

Have cleared CMOS numerous times, I have tried all different configurations of DIMM slots.
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

Unfortunately, this issue was never addressed much less resolved. I have just quit doing any AMD 600 series builds and have stuck with Intel builds or using only 700 series Boards as they appear to be more compatible with the DDR 5.

Since it won't boot at 6,000MHz and you know it runs at 4,800MHz, start at 5,000MHz and work your way up through all the speed settings available in the BIOS.

Run a stress test at each frequency, until the system stops working.

My Asus BIOS allows me to change the DOCP speed in increments of roughly 200MHz. You may have to manually adjust some memory timings to achieve stability.

With any luck, you should be able to select 5,000, 5200, 5400, 5,600 and 5,800MHz. As to which speeds are stable, remains to be seen.

Are your DIMMs in the Asus motherboard QVL?

There's a big difference between CL38 and CL30 at 6,000MHz on the two memory sets. Are you sure CL (CAS) 30 doesn't apply to 4,800MHz?

@Misgar ...Yes Ram is QVL...This is not the way I thought this build would go... I have the asus prime x670e-pro..ryzen 9 7950x and merc 310 7900xtx with the Vengeance DDR5 6400... so I have to ditch the ram to get back to normal? uggg... Right now I can't even get back to bios, any suggestions? I wiped cmos...restarted 10 times...pulled 2 sticks of the 4 ram..no start up screen just light on mobo on...

Try switching on the machine with no RAM installed. Wait a couple of minutes. Switch off and install just one DIMM and see if that "resets" the BIOS. Then fit another DIMM in dual channel mode. Do not apply XMP/EXPO/DOCP. See if it's more stable.

I'm running my 7950X with 2x32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM at 4800MHz on Asus Prime X670P and it's stable. My RAM is rated at 4800MHz max and I'm not using XMP.
