I have one of those power extensioncords with a on/off switch which I accidently shut off while my pc was on. Now I get the insert boot device error. At first I could get in in the bios without issue but after several retries my keyboard and mouse stopped working. When I was still able to get in the bios I saw that my SSD was still recognised. But now I can't do anything. Is my motherboard broken?

1| You will need to provide a list of your full system's specs inclusive of your OS.
2| Have you tried removing your CMOS battery before replacing it after 15-30 minutes?
3| Insert boot device errors come about when you have a boot device missing or the OS is not yet installed to which one of two things might've happened; a| your OS got corrupt or b| your PSU isn't powering your boot drive or lack of power therein.
