[SOLVED] Turning on XMP disables my PC's ability to sleep ?

I was recommend to enable XMP on my board to both improve performance and get the full value out of my ram. But when I went and did this my PC was no longer able to enter sleep mode. Is this normal or not, can it be fixed? My board is the B650EPG Riptide and my ram is Team T-Force Vulcan DDR5 5600

That was one of the first things I tried.
