turning wifi on, on one computer, stops all internet access over network

Everything on my network works great until I turn wifi on - on my mac osx 10.7.5 - and then all other devices including my computer that I would prefer to use via wifi can no longer access the internet. My mac will connect via ethernet. I am using a dlink router dir-651. Thanks for the advice!

It sounds like you have an IP address conflict, insure that the devices obtain an IP address automatically from the gateway router and that the gateway has enough DHCP addresses available to attach all devices.

My solution has been to keep it wired with the Ethernet cable. :|
