The 800X has hidden, built-in microphones. That's the difference between built-in, and a detachable, as noted by the article.

Interesting idea having hidden noise cancelling microphones, not sure how well it actually works though (800X)

TurtleBeach? Pass. Their headsets are built with an awful standard of quality and break easily (and reliably. Buy the extended warranty if you get it via retail!). Support for parts is lacklustre too.

TB has audio going for them, but that is literally all.
