[SOLVED] TV Monitor Blinking in and out with new build

I just built a brand new system around my RTX 3090 Founders Edition. ASUS ROG Maximus II Extreme board. Intel i9-10900K. The works.

I have been using my LG OLED C9 as a monitor without problems for my previous computers - an MSI gaming laptop with an RTX 2080 and an Alienware Aurora R11 with an RTX 2080 Ti. But after an afternoon of gaming on the new build, now the monitor/TV keeps blinking in and out. The computer itself is not having problems. Every time it blinks in the "HDR" symbol pops up in the upper right hand corner, along with "Instant Game Response Launched."

Any idea what gives? I even tried using a different HDMI cable.

If you disconnect the computers does the problem go away? Sounds like a timing issue on the video signal--I would check those settings.

Definitely not.

So then I think your tv just went on the fritz. I would turn it off, unplug it and then press the power button to drain all the current out (just like a computer). Then wait a bit and plug it back in and try again.
