I've got a Pinnacle TV tuner card that I use for video capture and as a digital video recorder. It works well as a TV tuner, but when I try to record video for anything more than a few minutes, my computer hangs when I try to stop recording and the only way to get out of it is to shut off the power to the computer.
The computer is a Gateway 3.06 ghz, with an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card with 128 meg of memory. The computer has 512 meg of RDRAM. It's got 2, 200 gigabyte hard disks.
I first tried a Haupage TV tuner card but had nothing but trouble trying to get it to work, so I took it back and bought the Pinnacle card.
Any ideas on what I might do to solve the problem?
Thanks!
