I am also using the All-in-Wonder HD, I am using the latest drivers from AMD (version 9.12).
You'll have to go to device manager and update the tuner driver there.

I have two Hauppauge 2200 and two Hauppauge 500 MKIT and works fine under windows 7 x64 ultimate. My BIG problem is haw I can see more than 4 tuners DVB-T and more than 4 analog tuners at the same time? In other words how we can extend the number of tuners under windows 7?

I'm using a Pinnacle Prostick 801e. It works OK for Anolog but not digital. I found an interesting post that explains why. You might want to check it out. Apparently most hybrid USB tuners are not recognized by Vista and Win7 so they exist only as Digital only or Analog only, unless you make some registry modifications.

I'm running an ATT Theatre 650 pro as well on my 64 bit Windows 7, and windows did not find the driver. I went to ATI's website to download, and found that the drivers is not yet available - q1 2010. Are you sure you have a 650 pro? I'd love to get mine working.

Can you please confirm that the AverTV Super 007 works under a "home" version of Win 7 64? Reason I ask is because I have a Winfast DTV2000H card. It worked just fine (didn't have to do anything) with Win 7 64 RTM build 7100. Now I have installed Win 7 Home Premium, and it's a dead duck. I wrote to Leadtek tech support - who advise

"Thanks for your contact. Unfortunately, the chipset of it has already phased out. So the chip of it might not be supported to Windows 7. But you can try to use the driver for Vista to install (it doesn't work). Sorry for your inconvenience."

Hence my interest to know under what version of Win 7 64 you have the AverTV working......

I am using an ASUS GadgeTV card and I also have an Hauppauge 1800 Card both running perfectly in Windows 7. I receive excellent HD and Analog reception on both cards. I use the Asus card as a monitor with Wireless 2.4 GIG color camera attached. I can record on one card while watching on the other.

Does this come as a USB? or card?. I am looking for the USB type for my HP i7 - dv7 3085 laptop with windowy 7 64x. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Brand is no biggie. It's just that I like to be able to watch television from my laptop and unplug when not watching.
Thanks,
Jo

Go to Hauppauge.com and search their site for the USB TV device that you think would work well on your laptop. I have two USB TV devices the size of a thumb drive that work wonderfully. They receive both Analog and HD TV signals. I made my own HD antenna and I pick up 47 HD channels and all Time Warner Stations. Hauppauge if by far the best TV technology out there. I gave up on ATI since they stopped supporting my PCI EXRESS cards and trying to update their drivers is really a hassel. I have no problem with the Hauppauge technology. teKno

Another comment on the Hauppauge devices. I do not like streaming my video through the MS media center since for some reason Microsoft feels that all signals should be DVR'd to the hard drive. I don't want my hard drive caching all the time and all the data. I use both the ASUS TV Gadget and the Hauppauge cards straight up without using the MS media center. I spend hours at the computer programming and doing websites and all I want is to have the TV SMALL on the sidebar side of the monitor just to watch not to record. teKno

Thanks Tekno. I did buy the Hauppauge usb one. It is the WinTV-HVR 950Q. Hybrid stick. Should I do anything special to keep the hard drive from caching all the time and all the data? I mean, what other way is included with it to have smooth running tv?
Thanks,
Jo

Jo,
I have the HVR 950 also. It's not the Q type since mine was purchased before the Q was released. I really like this little device - in fact I have two of them. I take one with us when we travel because I like to record shows when on the road. All we do is connect to a Cable, or Ant line and then let the Hauppauge find the channels. It works great! If you use the TV viewing option from Hauppauge and not use the Window Media Center for viewning then the device does not Cache. You just watch TV. When you purchased the 950 I don't know if the packaging contains the cables for connecting the device to a VCR or Digital camera but you should probably acquire the cabling as well if you feel this necessary. You can then connect any audio/video/output device to the unit and record directly into your computer. I use Sony VEGAS Pro and Pinnacle version 14 for recording and making professional DVDs for clients. Another suggestion: check the Hauppauge site regularly for WINTV updates. In fact, when you get the device you probably will not be able to use the enclosed software that comes packaged with it. I have many Hauppauge devices (3-1800 cards, and 2-950 USB) and NOT ONCE was I able to use their enclosed software. So, go to the Hauppauge site and download the updated drivers now so when the device arrives you're ready to install. We use the scheduler feature to record when we are not home and then convert the file to DVD format via Pinnacle or Vegas for viewing on DVD. Enjoy, teKno

Tekno,
I haven't even opened up the package yet. I have been so busy with other things. So, are you telling me that the software in the package won't work with my Windows 7 ? I am getting sort of confused by what you said. I haven't gone to the Hauppauge site to look up anything yet either. What is Vegas Pro and Pinnacle? Is it downloads? Or, is it special software that you have to use for recording? Just curious, just in case I decide to go further than just entertaining myself with television. I sure do appreciate you telling me all these tips and information.
Thanks,
Jo

Hi Jo,
I have found that the software that comes with most hardware devices was packaged months ago and the company has updated the drivers to work better than what is in the package. I would definitely try using the enclosed software, but if you find that it does not work that well all you have to do is go to the website and download the latest drivers. Here's the site for your device: http://www.hauppauge.com/site/support/support_hvr950q.html
Pinnacle is a very easy to use application that will allow you make professional looking DVDs with menus and links. The cost is around $129 or less at selected retail outlets. Vegas Pro is what I also use for Professional DVD rendering and development for client projects. However, it's not for the average consumer since the cost is around $400+. If you should decide to record some of the TV programs and want to transfer eventually to DVD I would recommend Pinnacle.
I love helping people. I spend hours each day at clients homes and businesses teaching and consulting in all areas of technology integration for home and business use, designing webpages, and anything technological. Trust me, once you get started on the TV watching you will eventually want to record and transfer to DVD. It will happen.
Have a GREAT WEEKEND!

Thank you very much for everything. I will certainly feel more comfortable this weekend with installing and using the tuner.
Thanks and you have a good weekend as well!
Til next time..
