Hello there! This is getting quite old. I've seen tons of threads like this, but I still haven't managed to find a solution.
The PC hasn't been used for a couple of months now, but this was never an issue before. Now I've bought a new TV and I guess that's the problem. It's a Philips 4500 series and I'm using a GTX 660 graphics card for the PC.
I've seen a lot of people fix this by setting up multiple displays in the control panel, but my TV doesn't show up there at all. I tried Windows + P without success and I even performed a system restoration to before the problem occurred. I have two high quality cables (both working perfectly with game consoles) but all I get when I try the same with the TV is "no signal". It works with VGA on my old Samsung bedroom TV though.
Hats off to anyone who could help me with this, I tried for many hours before coming here.
