twin i5-2500s in one computer

Solution
The reason these CPU's will not work in tandem is due to the lack of a supported motherboard for them. Intel does not have a chip set that will support a dual socket motherboard for the 2500S.

You can however do something called cluster computing which utilizes two or more computers and puts their power together so that they can be viewed as a single computer. Read this for more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_cluster

Computer clusters are very complex so I highly recommend a different route. Not to mention the i5-2500S is an out-of-date, lower power CPU which is hardly good enough to run modern games at it's stock frequency. (Video games was an example for the CPU itself. Cluster computing is only possible with non-real time...

Thanks for your answer but I'm honestly surprized here on Tom's site you haven't given more of a detailed answer. As in the why and the what happens if it was built. Your answer, though, correct, doesn't do anything to encourage curiosity and thinking outside the usual box of whatever the current thinking is.
Sincerely,

Bike

Doesn't really work that way. What you seek simply does not exist. Last dual socket motherboards to exist were socket LGA1366 and that hasn't been around for five years. And the current sockets do not support dual CPUs.

Hope that helps!
