Twin2X2048 PC-6400C4D (Dominator) and its predecessor

Hi guys, I want to ask this:

Is Corsair Twin2X2048 PC-6400C4 Dominator series similar to it's non-Dominator (the one using old heat spreader)?
I'm planning to get the Dominator for my GA-P35-DS4 mobo, but I don't know if they're compatible.

It will be compatible. Looks very nice with the dominator fins. How much are you planning to pay for it? There's much better quality memory available for the same price, but if you do not want to overclock your ram and simply like the looks of the dominator then stick with it, it is sexy.
