Question Two monitor mouse problem

I switched resolution on one of my monitors and afterwards my mouse direction switched directions. the right side screen was #1 and the left screen was #2. Now everything is reversed and cannot change monitor settings in W10
I switch the numbers but there is no save button meaning I cannot switch bac to my old configuration. Not sure how this happened or how to fix.

Why can't you change monitor settings in Windows 10? Are the options greyed out or can you no longer navigate to them?
Have you tried the monitor settings within the Nvidia Control Panel?

Both monitors show in windows display settings but when I switch #1 and #2 they don't save and I
cannot find a save button to keep the change

In the windows settings there is no save button, it just saves as you go until you are done.
You can click and drag one monitor to the other side in the window that shows up.

the problem is that once i drag the monitors to the right configuration, it doesn't save the changes
