It's actually been around in the workplace for quite some time now, i.e. used by animators behind-the-scenes on Emmy award winning TV series, etc. (http://us.shuttle.com/event/galactica/).

But now, it's even better with the new Pro Series. The J1 model even supports mini ITX - so it's pretty "future proof". :)

whats the news? they have had quad core i7 compatible boxes for a long time. They support nvidia gtx 280 and probably also radeon 5870. Enough power for work stations and serious gaming i think.

It now supports dual-slot graphics cards... and mini ITX motherboards... with the new J series models.

It'll also support Intel's six-core Gulftown - the upcoming J3 model.
