Tyan to Drop the DUAL DVI form for the R9600s

The Tech Report has a quick blurb about TYAN droping the dual DVI option from their line-up. That's a sad thing as I would prefer ALL card to come in dual-DVI format with a free dongle/adapter (buy your second dongle if you want). As LCDs get better (heck there are 14ms gaming ones out now, and 16ms is getting common) then I think there will be more push to go that route, and DVI is the best connector to that. I don't think ou lose any quality going DVI-VGA to a CRT, but definitely an LCD would look beter being feed from a DVI versus a DB15 (VGA) plug!

Well i personally don't got an TFT at home. But i know there's a small demand for dual DVI board. So it was kind of bad they didn't include it. Tyan could've had that small niche users all by themselves ;)
