Does the installation of UATA board improve the performance of the computer. I have a UATA 100 HDD. If I install a UATA 66 borad, will it work or improve the performance?

Hi.

Well, well - that depends... =)
If u have a IDE 33 IDE MB (I allow me to assume that) then u will experince a minor performance improvement.

Real men don't do backup...
...real men cry ALOT!

If your HDD is ATA100 and you motherboard doesn't support ATA100 directly, why not go for an ATA100 PCI controller instead of an ATA66 one?
