The cable co replaced my modem with a Ubee DVW3201. Tried to hook it up with the existing DLink DIR-655 router which worked fine with the old modem, but the internet wouldn't go thru to the computer. I pulled out my old Linksys WRTG router and it worked fine. Then the tech left. Now i'm stuck with B/G instead of B/G/N. Tried to setup the router and the Ubee uses 192.168.0.1, the same as the default DLink, so when i go to this address the setup for the Ubee comes up. The Linksys uses 192.168.1.1 so I can talk to it. I'm guessing the DLink is trying to keep the same setup address causing the conflict???
Any ideas on how to use the DLink? It's out of warranty so it costs to get DLink tech support. I tried to see if the DLink is using a different address using ipconfig but it doesn't help. If I can get into the DLink using my laptop or the like, can I setup a new default setup ip for the DLink? how? and any idea how to set it up to work with the Ubee?
i read posts about the Ubee tring to use it's own wifi, but I'm sure it's disabled (unlit on the front and got no wireless signal by itself).

Solution
On the Ubee, Disable wirless, tools > operation mode > bridged.

You may need to login using an admin account which could be LAST8ofMAC/c0nf1gur3m3 or similar.

Disconnect the Ubee and hook up the Dlink to your pc via a lan port.

Now power it on, access the web interface and change the LAN IP the DIR uses to 192.168.1.1, power down.

Wire everything back to normal, power up, then access the DIR, remember to change the DHCP address range to 192.168.1.x-- and setup any other features you need.

If this doesn't work, connect your ISP, as you may need a firmware update.
