So as the title mentions, I’m brand new to PC building but I managed to finish all the hardware assembly without an issue. Everything seems to be working just fine. (Every part has been purchased brand new)
As for what comes next... I’ve read dozens of forum posts and watched tons of YouTube videos as well as referenced my motherboard manual for the BIOS/UEFI set-up.
But I’m not entirely sure of what to do next...
I have my Windows 10 ready on a USB drive, and after doing a once over of my BIOS/UEFI, I noticed that none of my drives, or storage devices are showing in my “Boot Priority” but are being recognized by my PC as I can see them in the “Storage Information” section. Is this something I need to address before running my Windows install?
Of all my storage devices, I intend for my OS to be installed on my M.2 SSD. Is this something that can only happen if said device is available in the “Boot Priority?”
Or, should I proceed to install Windows OS via USB and then select from my 3 devices which one will hold my OS?
Sorry if this is stupid of me to ask. I’m just being very critical, and if someone could give me idea of what I should do, it would be much appreciated!
