UEFI & CSM Boot Modes - AM4 Motherboards

Gigabyte GA A320 MA board has following options in Firmware when it comes to UEFI or CSM Mode. I am slightly confused with the way it's supposed to work. Here's what the manual says.

Windows 10 Features
Allows you to select the operating system to be installed. (Default: Other OS)

CSM Support Enables or disables UEFI CSM (Compatibility Support Module) to support a legacy PC boot process.
Enabled - Enables UEFI CSM. (Default)
Disabled - Disables UEFI CSM and supports UEFI BIOS boot process only.
This item is configurable only when Windows 10 Features is set to Windows 10 or Windows 10 WHQL.

It says that this item is configurable only when OS is set to Windows 10.
This is somewhat confusing, if CSM or UEFI is not an option to choose for 'Other OS', in what mode would Linux or Windows 7 boot on such a system?

Windows 7 64 or Linux Ubuntu 64 both support UEFI boot. In above case when OS is 'Other' what would be the boot mode? If I want it to be UEFI, is that possible?

If you want to install windows in UEFI mode (any windows that supports UEFI - 7, 8, 10), then set CSM support to disabled.
If you want to install windows in legacy/CSM mode, then set CSM support to enabled.

Mentioning only Windows 10 in the description obviously is misleading.
