Question UEFI First video policy causes BIOS to get stuck on splash screen ?

im trying to disable CSM as i dont need it at all, when i try setting it to Disabled it says that i need to set video oprom policy to UEFI First first and reboot. when i do that, it gets stuck on the B2 post code and doesnt boot. sometimes after like 5 minutes it does boot but only into windows and no other os. when i try to enter the bios from the windows recovery , it just gets infinitely stuck at the splash screen. clearing CMOS solves the problem, but i still want CSM to be off.

my bios is Aptio Setup Utility v4, and weirdly my motherboard has an unknown manufacturer (msinfo32 says that its INTEL CORPORATION, while AIDA64 says its an Unknown Manufacturer)

im trying to disable CSM because im making a 'hackintosh' (installing macos on non-apple hardware) and im running into problems like not being able to boot because i have CSM on

all OS have to be installed in UEFI mode and on GPT partitions (no MBR) to accomplish your task.
get into BIOS and have a look which motherboard you have or open up the case and read the model name on the motherboard itself.
