uefi windows 10

hi,
i complete my new build pc and i need to install new os windows 10 uefi. i have one ssd (for os) and 1tb hdd for storage. i make uefi flash for installation win 10. my question is when i make new partition for os on ssd (comes tree more for backup and some stuf) then i click new on hdd and again tree more patritions come? i don’t know how to make just one for storage on hdd?

Just select the SSD when you install windows. Leave the HDD alone.

After windows is installed you will need to go into disk management and give it a dive letter so it can be used for storage.

in fact install windows with ONLY the SSD fitted, disconnect the HDD first.

so only ssd must be in GPT for uefi windows and hdd can be in regular MBR?
