So im looking to build my first PC, ive helped build a system before so i have the knowledge but im not particulary aware of what components are good. Im looking to spend at the most £600 and would like to be able to game at a decent level of FPS on 1280x768.
Basically what im asking for is suggestions on components for the system. I dont need any of the peripheals like a monitor or keyboard and i have no bias to intel or AMD. whatever is most effective.
thank you in advance.

Total cost £499.97

You can save in a number of places, such as using a pentium cpu, 4 instead of 8GB of RAM, a cheaper H61 motherboard and a 6770 rather than a 6850.
There is no chance of overclocking the cpu on this build, if you'd like to do that you'd need a Z68 Mobo and a i5 K series cpu (about £80 more)
