Running a Dual 1ghz P3 on a Gigabyte motherboard with 1 gig ram and 2 WD1200BB drives. Bought a third drive and a SIIG Ultra ATA133 IDE controller and installed it per the instructions. Kept the boot drive on the primary IDE channel and transferred the remaining two drives to the new controller. The controller comes with its own BIOS and during bootup, detects the drives. When Win2k finally boots up, the drives aren't showing anywhere. not under disk management or under the controller in the device manager. checked out the event viewer and found hundreds of errors like "The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR4, is not ready for access yet." and "Received a device interface REMOVAL notification for device:

tried just about anything i could think of.. emailed SIIG tech support 4 days ago and still no reply. their site has a useless FAQ on it. any ideas anyone?
