So I am interested in building a stable non overclocked LAN party PC that can double as a HTPC using external storage for my movie library. My budget is about $700USD and the GTX 970 will come from my current build when I upgrade to a 1070 (whenever I can get my hands on one). So I am look for input on the parts list I've compiled. I know PC part Picker is really good with compatibility, but every once in a while I've heard of parts physically not matching, such as Memory heatsinks and aircoolers. my biggest concern is ensuring the silverstone AR06 will fit in the case.
This form factor doesn't allow for any water cooling so I'm saving some cash with a non-K cpu, and most modern Games do not need Hyper-threading so again saving a few bucks there on a locked CPU. I was looking at non-Z170 MoBo becuase I won't be overclocking

i5-6500 3.2GHz quad core
Silverstone AR06
ASRock h170m-itx
Corsair Vengence 16gb (2x8)

MSI GTX 970 4gb OC
Silverstone ML08b-H HTPC
Silverstone 500w 80+ Gold SFX Fully Modular

Solution
No reason to buy a 970 when the RX480s are going to be released in about a week and actually cost less than the 970 and it performs better. The CPU cooler is also unnecessary for a locked processor. Otherwise that looks like a pretty solid ITX build.

I am upgrading my current build with a 1070, once I get my hands on one. And so this build would inherit the 970.
Your comment about the CPU cooler makes sense, I was thinking of reducing temps and lowering fan noise with an AM cooler.
