Well Black Monthday has given me the time for a new monitor itches. Right now I'm running a 21:9 LG 29UM68 at 2560 x 1080 at a heart wrenching 60 Hz since 2018. For some reason the blacks have washed out either by new drivers or windows updates.
An ultrawide is a must. It really helps me get my editing done, playing video games and streaming movies (if the zoom or scale extension works on the streaming site) amongst other things.
A resolution of 3440 x 1440 is a must and I truly want something more than a shoestring 75Hz for a refresh rate. So that I may (game) work in style. Under $500 would be nice.
I looked on other sites for their “best pick’s” for monitors. But I believe your input here in the Toms Hardware forum because you all deal with products much more as a user with his and her products. Instead of testing them for a few hours.
