Basically, I have been using a combo of a 23 inch monitor and a 14 inch tablet propped up next to it for work from home because I am constantly looking at two different programs at once so I am using two computers instead of switching tabs. It works, but it is getting harder and harder to read the smaller screen :) I don't want to spend a ton so I found these two at Costco I was looking at: This LG 34 inch ultrawide for $299 or for almost half the price, this LG 32 inch 16:9 monitor for $169. This will still end up being my main home monitor so I want something for normal use too when I am not using two windows at once. I don't do any gaming so just pretty much mostly web stuff and occasional photo and video editing. How are two screens on a 16:9 vs 21:9? Is an ultrawide worth the extra? What do you think between these two? Or can 32"/34" be too big?

I don't have room for two monitors side by side. If I get another 1920x1080 monitor regardless of the size, opening two windows side by side will look the same whether it is 23 inch or 32 inch except it will just be bigger but not any wider, correct? It was my understanding each window would be wider in an ultra-wide 2560x1080. Is that not correct? It may not be as wide as two full 23 inch 1920x1080 monitors, but it would be wider than a single large 1920x1080 wouldnt it?

It has an extra 600 pixels width (essentially 1/3 of a standard 16:9 screen extra).
So the answer is yes obviously,
