Umax astra 2200 windows 7 driver

Is there a driver for Win7 with my astra 2200 ?

According to the Umax US site there is a driver for XP but not Win7 -- perhaps you could run Win7 in XP mode while using this scanner.

If this is quite a recent purchase it's poor show that they have no 7 driver -- but I have seen more queries from Umax owners about drivers than any other scanner brand.

Confirms my instinct to stick with Epson or Canon when buying a scanner.
