Umm... I have this extra Sata cable, and i have no idea where it goes...

I just opened up and cleaned my computer for the first time, and i did some cable "managing" but now i have this extra sata cable, and i don't know where it belongs. I connected my hard drive through the one already connected, but what is the other one for? Thanks in advance!

Either a second HDD, or a DVD drive, or it was just an extra.

Maybe it goes to your case front panel for some e-sata port you have.

If it aint broke don't fix it,Just leave until you put in another Hard drive

Which case? Might be for a fan controller for instance as well.
