Unable to boot computer from Windows 7 64 bit installation disk

I am attempting to custom install windows 7 64 bit on a computer currently running windows vista 32 bit. I created my installation disk (3 attempts) from an ISO file using 2 different 3rd party programs to create a bootable disk. I also changed the BIOS to boot from DVD first. I get to the prompt to "press any key to boot from cd/dvd" but it does not appear my keystroke is recognized. The computer continues on to boot from the hard drive. Please help!

Are you trying to dual boot or do an upgrade from vista? If upgrade then you can place the ISO on your desktop and extract it with an program like Winrar, MagicISO or 7Zip. This will walk you thru using MagicISO http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-extractiso.htm

Other programs that will open an ISO along with a how todo.
