Unable to boot from USB in 78lmt-s2pt

Hi

I recently purchased a 78LMT-S2PT rev 4.1 motherboard.

I tried to install Windows 7 by booting from an USB on my PC which has gigabyte's GA-78LMT-S2PT motherboard (revision 4.1). The stick was working perfectly on my Asus M4N68T-M LE V2.

I made the windows 7 bootable using RUFUS 2.8. When I tried booting using Ubuntu 16.04 written to an USB it works but when I try windows 7, it doesn't work.

I get the message 'Press any key to boot from USB...' followed by error message "A disk read error occurred. Press ctrl+alt+del to restart."

I don't know what to do, I've googled but found nothing useful. I've been at it for 5-6 hrs.

The bios has been updated to its latest version 'FC'. The motherboard has an hybrid EFI bios.

Please help me out ASAP I am think about returning my motherboard.

Hey , I found the solution finally using google. I just have formatted the USB stick in NTFS and use YUMI to create bootable USB stick instead of RUFUS.

I googled the error message and voila !
