Unable to connect to Advanced Warfare online services

I try to start CoD:AW Multiplayer but the same error keeps popping up saying: "The call of duty Advanced Warfare online services are not available at this time" or something similar. I bought the game yesterday (9th) and was able to play then. I dont know if it is my internet connection sucking so much a*s or if the game is F:ed up... My question is, can you join it? I have e-mailed my internet provider about my speeds because they are also messed up. paying for 30, getting hardly 5 at some points.

I have exactly the same problem, I don't think the problem is on your side. For me it usually works on the third try (by that I mean clicking on Play Online).

My advise, see if it works if you click on "Play Online" again after receiving the error. And also report the bug on the CoD forums (like I did) so the developer can fix it 😉

They've recently acknowledged a Network problem with mp, and are working on a solution.

Hopefully they've as well noticed all the complaints about memory issues, out of sync load screens and stuttering many are having.

I have seen a few staff replies on the Sledgehammer forum about the insufficient memory error when trying to play in split screen on console though, so surely they must know there's some memory related problems in the code.

Thanks for your reply. I usually just exit the game and try again after a few minutes. I got in first try after your response! I was worried it was my network! Would you like to play sometime?

Glad you got it running, but sorry, I don't play mp anymore. I had my time with that and I'm decades older than most of the young uns that play CoD mp now, so I stay away from it. Not my cup of tea anyway.

No solution just confirming that I too keep getting the same service unavailable message error and it's been doing it to me for like 3 days now wtf we pay Alotta money for this game and to play on Xbox live there is no excuse for this testing/ maintenance should have been done last year ! PC player here and I've been having extreme issues with multiplayer connectivity for COD AW and I've done everything imaginable to correct the issue. I know it's on their end. Only once have I been able to connect in five days and it's because someone suggested flushing my dns cache. No problems connecting to other services, just COD AW multiplayer.

I too have same issue. The workaround that works for me and it sucks, but try it
1. Make sure COD is closed.
2. OPen Router config (wifi) and disable (UPnP) - apply the settings
3. Re-enable UnPP and then Apply - try game after that - should go right in and show NAT-OPEN.

I have PS3 and even I have had problems getting on advanced warfare. Same code as you guys for 3 days. I love the new cod but have been stuck playing black ops. They will get the problem fixed just be patient with them. Things happen I know it's fustrating

been having issues connecting to the COD AW servers on PS4 for like a month (since I bought it Dec 10th) I can connect online for GTA fine (though it d/c's all the time) so I dont think its really on my side thats causing it (can surf the play store without problem as well). There are some possible factors like a permanent 600-700 ping (satellite connection) But I have heard people also on sat connections have been able to connect without a problem so I am confused, help?

Mine is doing the same thing. On the third try it finally worked.
