Currently troubleshooting a friend's PC. He ordered a 980 PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD, 500 GB and is attempting to run it through his GA-H110-D3A motherboard. Currently the drive isn't showing up in the BIOS etc.
From my brief searching it seems the motherboard has support for SATA M.2 drives specifically but no mention of PCIe or NVMe M.2 support. Just wanted to confirm that this is the issue specifically. It 'seems' that there isn't any option to change anything relating to this in the BIOS settings and just wanted to run it by some smarter people than myself to confirm and potentially seek out a quick and easy solution if there is one. Many thanks.
