unable to format sd card

I need help formatting my 16gb sd card. Tried formatting it via cmd but im getting an "invalid media or Track 0 bad - disk unusable." Error. Is there any chance that i can fix the problem?

Hey there, Janoski.

Give it a try with its manufacturer's formatting tool (most SD card and flash drive manufacturers offer such tools for their devices). You could also try it with a different computer to see if the same thing happens.
Unfortunately it really sounds like it could have failed so if it's still under warranty you should try to RMA it.
