I have a Tenda N3 router. I flashed the firmware for the range extender on to it and it was working perfectly well until I changed my primary router. Now when I try and connect to the Tenda N3 router it assigns me an ip in the 169.254.xxx.xxx range. Furthermore even if i try and take a static ip i am unable to access the settings page -> (192.168.0.1 / 192.168.1.1)

I have reset the Tenda N3router multiple times and the problem persists.

I connected the Tenda N3 router to my primary router with a LAN cable, still did not work.

I have tried wired and wireless connections to the Tenda N3 router, however the same issue stands.

Please advise.

Solution
If you have done a full factory reset (according to manual) for the router, and can not access the settings page (make sure you have the right address for your firmware) then you must have bricked the router durring firmware instal.
