Hi

I7 4790k Standard clock

Corsair 32GB 2400 ram.

Z 97-K Mobo

I've tried putting the timings manually, Upped the voltage from 1.65 to 1.7, Tried XMP several times. Restarted computer etc.

I got 1 BSOD Memory_Managment error after a while when I woke up today and every time since when I play fortnite my game randomly crashes. It's obviously the memory overclock because when I turn it off it doesn't happen.

It's annoying because supposably my processor supports 2400MHz and my RAM advertises 2400MHz. It only runs at 1333, and I've been testing and researching this all day with no dice.

Please help me.

I'll answer questions

Solution
Just reset, and see videos on how to overclock the RAM properly. Before, check if the Mobo and the RAM supports OC. Don't go around doing things without having sure of what you're doing. The Dual Channel has nothing to do with that. If you're saying that it's running at 1333, 1333 times 2 equals 2666 . So if everything crashes i suppose you cant go over 2400Mhz. So, 2400 divided by two is 1199,3. Put it at that and you will get 2400Mhz 😉

No, It's running at 665.3, I just said 1333 because it's on dual channel.

When it's on 2400 it's at 1199.3
