I have a Dell i7559 with a 4k display,16gigs of RAM, GTX960m card. My laptop has 3 USB 3.0 ports. The left side has 2 of the 3 ports. So the second port on the left has a metal casing around the entry which prevents insertion of an USB. Can someone help me identify what's wrong with that port? *All the ports are same* *And the other 2 ports works fine*

Here's the link to the picture of the port.

Thanks! :)

Comparing your picture with those on Dell's web site I'm pretty sure that metal casing isn't supposed to be there. This may sound like a far out idea, but maybe you or someone else removed a USB cable a bit too energetically leaving the metal head of the USB inside the port.

See if you can remove the metal - very carefully - using a pair of tweezers.

Best of luck,
GreyCatz.
