Unable to log after downloading updates

After I download window updates I am unable to sign in.
After downloading I have to restart the commuter,continue key in F8 and
set the computer to the last known config. and/or re-enter my username
and password - why and How do I stop it?????

you mean your PC repeatly restart before you log in?
