Unable to open Realtek HD Audio Manager

Hi everyone,

Realtek HD Audio Manager is not working for me. It was clearly installed, with all files there, but wouldn't open via direct exe, won't open on startup, doesn't appear on taskbar, and has nothing in the control panel. I've spent hours today trying to find a fix, but nothing has been successful. Desperately need the audio manager itself.

Running an Acer V Nitro on Windows 8.1 (obviously), Core i7 with Nvidia GTX960m if this helps.

Finally found a way to enable it again. Downloaded this: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24003

Found another solution but don't know if this will work on laptops.
Go to your motherboard manufacturers' website and find your motherboard or just type in your motherboard in google should work the same. Find the recommended Realtek HD Audio Driver and just install.
I've been trying for a long time to make it work with the latest drivers but no such luck. Today got the idea to try installing recommended driver, specific to my motherboard, that was listed here https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-970A-D3-rev-10-11#support-dl. Worked like a charm.
