Question Unable to remove excess/unused ethernet connections.

As the title says I'm unable to remove the 'Ethernet 3' from my windows settings window, there is no trace of this connection in my networks setting either (show hidden is selected).

Microsoft Kernel Debug Network Adapter or​

Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows​

Amazing it was the Xbox Wireless adapter, unplugging it got rid of the 'Ethernet 3', this random 'connection' has annoyed me for years...always through it was some random system issue I've not been able to get to the source..weird asf issue lol Thanks a bunch!!

remove it from safe mode, you know how to go to safe mode?

Not exactly sure what you mean sorry. I know how to get my pc into safe mode but 'take it out of safe mode?? Do you mean uninstall the adapter while my pc is in safe mode?

no just delete that ethernet 3 from safe mode, there could be some program interfere with it, so safe mode will make it easier to delete
